This is how much the diamond actually weighs, and often corresponds to the size of the diamond.

Another grading scale that notates the amount of color present in the diamond. D starts the range out and is completely colorless, and progressively there is an increase of visible color to the stone.

Clarity
This grade corresponds to how many inclusions are present and how visible they are. Flawless (FL) is just that- flawless! As the grades go down, there will progressively be more noticeable inclusions. However, staying VS1 and above will guarantee there are no visible inclusions at normal viewing distance.

Table
Taking multiple measurements into consideration, this is the percentage of the table size in relation to the crown (top) of the diamond.
Depth
This is the percentage of the depth of the diamond relative to the other measurements. This is useful to keep in mind to find a balanced and brilliantly cut diamond!
Polish
The polish grade notates how well polished the facets are, keeping this Very Good (VG) and above means the facets are optimally polished to offer the most brilliance and light return.

Symmetry
This grade is set by how well the facets are placed on the diamond, ensuring they are aligned and in the optimal angles to ensure light is able to refract internally and not be lost due to improper facet alignment.

Fluorescence
Most commonly found in natural diamonds, fluorescence indicates how strongly the diamond glows under a UV light. It is rare that it causes any visible indication of being present under normal lighting.
